The Foundation collects generic information about visitors to our website. This information includes the date and time of access, your internet service provider's address, the web browser used, the internet address of the visitor's computer, and the names of the pages on our website that are visited. We do not collect personally identifying information from anyone who is merely visiting or browsing our website. We may, however, collect information if a visitor chooses to provide such information, such as when a visitor applies for the Program or sends us an e-mail.  The Foundation will not sell, rent, license, or trade your personally identifying information with third parties for their own direct marketing use.

The Foundation may disclose personally identifying information in connection with processing your application for the Program, conducting audits, responding to legal and/or regulatory requirements, enforcing the Foundation’s policies, or in responding to complaints or safety or security concerns.  The Foundation also may share your personally identifying information with law enforcement or other governmental officials in response to a verified request relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity or in response to a subpoena or other legal process.  The Foundation will disclose personally identifying information in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Use of Information

By submitting an application to the Program, you understand that, in the event you receive a scholarship, the Foundation and any sponsors of the Program will require you (or your parent or guardian if you are not of legal age) to agree in writing that the Foundation may use your name, image, photo, likeness, and excerpts from your application for purposes of advertising the Program, notifying the public and other applicants of awards, administering the Program, and complying with legal or other record keeping or audit requirements.  You understand that you will not be compensated separately for such use.

In addition, the Foundation may share data with third parties engaged by the Foundation to assist the Foundation with its operations.  By way of example and not limitation, the Foundation may share data with third parties to process Program applications, perform statistical analyses, send you mail or e-mail, or provide support.  All such third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifying information except to provide such services to the Foundation, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your personally identifying information.

The Foundation uses cookies to identify the areas of our website that you have visited and to help facilitate the exchange of information between our systems and your systems. These tiny electronic files help us analyze how well our website is performing and what portions of our website visitors find most helpful. This helps us improve the website and make it easier to use.
